• Name, username, date of birth, gender — collected during onboarding to personalise your experience
• Location (optional) — used to show locally relevant news; you may deny this permission

Information collected automatically

• Device identifiers — used by Google AdMob to serve relevant advertisements
• Usage data and analytics — including articles read, features used, and session information, collected via Firebase Analytics
• Push notification token — used to deliver news alerts via Firebase Cloud Messaging

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate and maintain your account
• Personalise your news feed and recommendations
• Deliver push notifications about breaking news
• Serve advertisements via Google AdMob
• Analyse app usage to improve the product
